Building CivTactics convinced me that a credit union business simulation is possible at the depth of Football Manager. You set member strategy, allocate capital, write lending policy, chase deposits, and choose your risk appetite, then live with the second-order effects through economic cycles over ten years or more.
Running a credit union is a long game of compounding decisions, and a simulation is the fastest safe way to practice one. The goal is to train future credit union CEOs and to show everyone else how a member-owned institution behaves differently from a bank.
